Mark Mains started his fire service career, to follow in his father’s footsteps, in 1996 with the Millstone Township Fire Department located in Monmouth County. Mark’s passion for firefighting quickly grew as he rose to the position of Asst. Chief. In 2005 Mark decided to take the next step and became a career firefighter with the Millstone Township Fire District where he currently holds the position of the departments’ engineer. Mark offers a wide variety of skills and talents which include his mechanical background and knowledge of equipment. He holds certification in Foundation Brake and Air Disc Brake training from Transaxle. Mark is a certified in Hale Pump Maintenance and Operations and is Waterous Pump Certified. He is EVT certified and is working towards earning his master EVT certification.
Patrick Howell is a graduate of Lincoln Institute of Technology receiving a diesel mechanic certification and top honors in his class. Patrick followed in his father and brothers footsteps and is a 19 year veteran of the Manchester Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 and had served as the companies Chief Officer for 4 years. Patrick also formerly served as a per diem firefighter with the Millstone Township Fire District #1 for 2 years. Patrick has received his Hale Centrifugal Fire Pump Maintenance and Repair Certification.
David Rogers graduated from Universal Technical Institute with a diesel certification. He received his Hale Centrifugal Fire Pump Maintenance and Repair Certification. David also has training on Cummins Midrange engine training and a vast background with troubleshooting electrical issues.
Billy Nicoll has been an active member of the Toms River Company service for 30 years and is a past chief. Growing up Billy worked and learned the automotive industry working hands on for his father who owned an automotive service center. Billy then went on to take over the family business which he ran for 10 years. He brings 30 plus years working in the automotive service industry with vast diesel mechanic knowledge and skills in electrical work.

Brian has been around fire trucks all his life, growing up at the Enterprise Volunteer Fire Company. He has been a firefighter since the age of 16 and made captain by 20. It was only fitting that Brian would go on to work in the fire industry in which he grew up in. Brian has 24 years of experience working on fire apparatus and diesel trucks. This has given him an extensive background in all aspects of service and maintenance. Brian trained through the Peterbilt factory. The certifications he has achieved over the years are EVT certified, NJ State A/C and emissions certified, Cat, Bendix, Hale, and holds numerous other certifications. Brian Sutton has a reputation that precedes him throughout the fire industry, rest assured your apparatus is in good hands.
